This is Adeolu Adeniyi Photography
Hey, welcome in.
This is our first official blog post, and to be honest, there’s no fancy intro here — just a simple
start to something that’s been on my mind for a while. A space to talk, share, teach, and connect
beyond the photos you already see on Instagram or the website.
If you’re reading this, you probably already know I’m a photographer. My name is Adeolu
Adeniyi — a Nigerian-born, Canada-based visual creative.I document love, energy, and culture
through weddings, concerts, events and sometimes portraits when needed. But if you’ve
worked with me before, you’ll know it’s never just about holding a camera and pressing a
shutter. It’s about timing, trust, and telling stories people will feel.
That’s really what this is all about.
So, why start a blog?
Because people only see the final photo — the highlight reel. What they don’t see is the prep,
the pressure, the soft moments that get missed, or the thought that goes into making each shot
feel like you.
This blog is a chance to bring you behind the scenes. To talk about how I work, what I look for,
how I prepare for shoots, and even the mistakes I’ve made and learned from. It’s also where I’ll
share helpful tips — whether you’re a couple planning your wedding, a creative trying to break
into photography, or just someone who wants to understand the art of capturing real moments.
I don’t want this blog to be overly curated or “perfect.” That’s not how life works, and that’s not
how I shoot. I want this to feel like you’re talking to a friend who happens to be your
photographer — one who wants the best for your memories and your moments.
What matters to me?
Intentionality. Simplicity. Feeling.
Anyone can take a clean photo. I want to take one that means something. That’s why I shoot the
way I shoot. That’s why I talk to clients the way I do. That’s why I care more about connection
than perfection.
So if you’re new here — welcome. And if you’ve worked with me before, thank you for trusting
me. I don’t take that lightly.
This is just the beginning. Let’s build something beautiful here.
Talk soon,
— Adeolu
